Hello peeps ! Today we will write about our favourite beaches in Melbourne.

Melbourne is an amazing place to live, the city is full of life, with great restaurants, cafe's, bars & events always nearby its very hard not to stay entertained.

When the Australian summer intensifies the urge to cool down is a must. So the best place to be is on a sandy beach sun baking or swimming & enjoying the waves to cool off. No matter whether you live in the East or Western suburbs of Melbourne or your passing by the city, a beach is always nearby.

First we look at St Kilda beach, located just outside of Melbourne's CBD, St Kilda is a great place to be in the summer time. Here you can enjoy the St Kilda beach festival which is run over the weekend is a great event for any one who wants to party, the St Kilda markets, Luna Park, beautiful green parks for families & amazing restaurants and cafes for whenever you are thirsty or need a quick bite to eat & not to mention the beach which is great for a day out with mates.

Next we look at Brighton Beach, just 11km South-East of Melbourne, Brighton is great place to enjoy the view of Melbourne from a distance while sun baking on our sandy shores. Here we also find the famous Brighton Sheds's which is beautiful in its colour, however, very steep in price where you can buy a shed for roughly around A$200,000.

Last but no least, our favourite Jan Juc. Located 100km South-West of Melbourne at the beginning of the Great Ocean Road, Jan Juc is a surf beach which is fun for all. If you want to enjoy great surf, beautiful golden beaches & the purity of the ocean this is the spot for you. We tend to go here with family or a group of mates surf or boogie board for the day, while the girls love sun baking & enjoying the soothing sounds of crashing waves.

Also while your on The Great Ocean Road you might as well pop by to see the 12 Apostles which is a  gorgeous site as sunset falls on the coastal horizon. Most importantly if you are in Australia & enjoying the gorgeous rays of the sun make sure you always 'Slip, Slop, Slap' (Aussie terms to put on sunscreen).

We hope enjoy our latest post, make sure you check out the gallery for more photos & what was worn.
