October 11, 2016

How to experience Paris in 3 days.

Paris does not disappoint, its rich history, gorgeous culture, elegance in style & best know as the city of love, takes your breath away. The buildings & monuments which have stood strong for centuries is a clear indication of the power & strength which the French Capital has held in Europe. With these upcoming posts you will experience a little bit of Paris through our eyes which we hope you will enjoy.

Musee du Louvre as its known in french, is the word's largest museum, housed in the Louvre Palace it is a central landmark of the city. The Louvre is home to more than 380,000 objects & displays 35,000 works of art in 8 curatorial departments, so we highly recommend that you leave a couple of hours free as you need time to experience, absorb and enjoy the beauty of the museum.

After The Louvre we head off to the famous boulevard Avenue des Champs-Elysees where we had a traditional Parisian delicacy at Laduree which is known to be the home of Macarons.

After our delicious experience at Laduree, we then continued a long the boulevard Champs-Elysees where we treated ourselves with some shopping & finished at the Arc de Triumph.

Arc de Triumph known as one of the most famous monuments in Paris, it is located on the western end of the Champs-Elysees. Standing in the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle it honours those who died for France in the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars, it is detailed with the names of all French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces. Beneath its vault lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from World War I.
